Chinese new year is around e corner again.
Dad has been pestering everyone to help wif e spring cleaning.
Well, e moment he starts asking us to clean up, i'll suddenly remember i haf tests coming/notes that need to be read etc etc.
Haha... Meaning... excuses lah. Bleah.

I lye chinese new year.
I lye it especially when e kitchen is stocked up wif new year goodies, transparent and red coloured lids stacking up.
I lye chinese new year songs being played on radio (those very traditional ones).
During new year, e shops are adored wif red red decorations.
Temporary tentage are set up to sell anything chinese-new-yearcy.
And Everyone just look happier.

E only thing i dun lye abt amk hub is dat it kinda spoiled other parts of amk central, in e sense dat they had become quieter.
I remembered when i was young, my mum used to bring mi to this area, where e shop sells almost everything that has got to do wif chinese new year.
And people are busy purchasing flowers, picking small golden ornaments and chun lian.
E festive spirt is very strong and i like it alot. E sights are brings alot of warmth. =)

But wif this new amk hub, this area no longer exist already. =(

This period is also when we see alot of lion dance.
Kind of noisy, but dun u think e lions look adorable instead of fierce?
Furry flurry and so colourful.
Again, when i was young , i used to live in a flat next to a temple.
When ever there's big occasions, there will be lion dance troops performing for e temple.
Being very short in height (lower primary), i would tip toed to look out of e window. and watched e performance wif my sisters. Sweettt.

And i dun knoe why, when new year is here, e air smells different and even e breeze is different. Really!!!
