Woa... work was great. At first, i was thinking that i may not be ready to start work so soon, before i haf my fill of fun. Luckily, this job suits my mood perfectly. Befriended some undergrads who started this holiday job wif mi. We were not required to wear office wear. Yeah! So far, i haf contributed nothing. Yes, nothing. Just sit there and listen to our trainers talking abt Singtel products... such as mobile plans, broadband and home telephone lines etc etc... =)


The first few days, i couldn't get used to it. Cos we trainees are all strangers to one another. Going out to lunch together wasn't sth to look forward to bcos there's always awkward silence. =/ Plus!!! Technology is really not my cup of tea. Broadband?? 3G hps?? Wa piang... why dun u kill me instead?


However, e trainers are extremely friendly. They made e session fun and easy to understand. Even a tech idiot lye mi haf a much clearer idea of what they are about. I feel so IT-savvy now man!!!!! And after a few days of hanging around together, we guys haf common topics and often laugh aloud in unison. =) Lunch break is a cool 1 and 1/2 hrs. Sometimes 2.


And I received e bestest of the best news today. Initially, we told by our agents that we may have to work on weekends and we haf 2 shifts- 8am to 6pm ; 10am to 8pm. Today, the company amended e operating hours of my department to be...




Hooray!!! This is such good news for mi. Since i haf always wanted to go blading and stuff and Sundays. Also, i prefer to start work early and end work early. Even Saturdays can be a half day kind of thing. =)


Hee... yea, i know this is just a temporary period for our training will end soon. Nevertheless, juz enjoy first lah. =) Alright... and another good news. I can get movie tickets at a subsidized of 6 bucks as a staff of Singtel. Juz need to wait for them to process my pass.


Now... movie anyone?
