I want to set up a restaurant when i'm older... it muz haf a concept, n everything will evolve ard dat concept... For example, "love and romance". I will set it up in a place w heritage, because i lye e idea. Hmm... like holland village? Maybe upper thomson... Clarke Quey! Ahh... these r some of e places i lye in s'pore. Hehe...
Decor n ambience:
E decor will be very cozy... dim orange lights, vintage wallpaper, large soft armchairs... lye those at coffeebean... Soothing love songs will be played in e background, dat helps diners relax n unwind, n feel lye falling in love all over again. Wow... On evenings, e "alfresco" area will be opened 2 public. So dat e customers can enjoy e natural breeze while they dined! There r plants hanging around this area 2 make it cosier... Hung along wif em will be lamps, lit by table light candles. E light of e lamp flickers away while my customers enjoy their dinner n conversation. Whoo... romantic. E mini bar will operate from 7pm onwards... It serves wines n nice cocktails w cheeky names. Eg: slippery nipple! Wahahaha! On some special days(perhaps every fridays n sats), i will invite live band 2 perform here. One of em is chen wei lian, but i'll only allow english songs.
Food:
Now comes e food! I will come up with my own dishes, meaning no usual stuff lye chicken cutlet! Maybe mainly Ltalian food. They all muz have unique names! =) Same goes 4 drinks which r home creations. Den i will also hire a chef who specialises in deserts, pastries n ice-creams. All e dishes mus pass my taste buds b4 they r introduced. I can also get my eldest sis 2 source 4 delicious recipes all ard e world since she travels regularly. For lunches, we 'll have promotional set lunches, n e setting of e restaurant will not be so romantic at tis time as described. How? I need 2 figure it out. Because i dun think e love concept will attract many working adults during lunchtime. We will also serve terribly nice cream cakes/ pies during tea-time. Our regulars 4 tea-time will be tai-tais, with cute little toy dogs; (rich) students dat resemble mi, meiting n mingqi! Haha... N i will issue membership cards 2 customers who spent 200 bucks n above in a single receipt n my friends! Hee...
Some rules...
Oh ya! My restaurant doesn't welcome unreasonable diners. If they wanna come 2 my place, they muz respect my staff, or else, off they go. As such, i need waiters n waitresses with good attitudes 2 prevent all my customers from running away! Every year, i will also renovate e place 2 give a new look, n adopt another concept... how abt "retro"? Den my waiters haf 2 dressed up as Elvis! Haha... N of course, i want 2 run this restaurant wif my love! *chuckles*

Oh man... i'm dreaming too much today. =/
